Highland Cattle

I don't normally paint animals as the focus of the picture - merely as part of the scenery, but there is something about the texture of the woolly coats of these docile animals that make them a delight to do.  The pictures here are all 'miniatures' measuring 7x5 inches, painted in oil on board.
