There is something very lovable about the docile highland cow with its thick fluffy coat. Over the years I've taken a number of photos of them on my travels around Scotland, but only recently have I tried to capture their essence in paint. I've found them fun and relatively fat to do (only a few hours), and particularly enjoyed laying on the colours to create their hairy coats. All these are miniatures (7x5 inches) so you can see the individual brush marks and the texture of the canvas board at this scale - something you only see in real life with my larger pictures.
I have a small selection of my most popular cards and prints available from my shop.
